Your vehicle wouldn’t move without the wheel axles, cv joints or driveshafts. With so many important, moving parts, it’s important to take care of these vehicle components.
Axles – Axles are an integral component of wheeled vehicles. The axles serve to transfer driving torque to the wheel, as well as to maintain the position of the wheels relative to each other and to the vehicle body.
CV Joints – The Constant Velocity joints transfer power from the vehicles transaxle or differential to the CV axles and onto the wheels. Corroded, locked up or malfunctioning CV joints may often result in lost power transfer and CV axle failure.
Differentials – The car’s differential is a set of gears that allows the wheels to spin at independent speeds for navigating corners and turns.
Drive Shaft – This mechanical rotating tube transfer’s torque from a vehicle’s transmission to the differential of the vehicle.
